We now have a trailer to live in next year while the big bits of the renovation get done

Well, they say you should get the crappy jobs out of the way first. So in August we started by building an outhouse that we can use when the plumbing has been dismantled. Put a cold water sink and some checkered curtains in it so it doesn't look too shabby.

This blog will follow the renovation of our old farmhouse. The farm was originally settled by my wife's great-grandfather and family in 1889.
